Start by downloading the City & Food Walk app from the App Store or Google Play. You can also scan the QR code with a second phone. Then, purchase your ticket via this webshop.
Please note: Participation is available for a maximum of 8 people per booking.
After purchase, you will receive a license key (code) by email, which you need to activate the app. We recommend creating an account when purchasing your ticket.
Each participant needs their own personal code.
The City & Food Walk is available from Tuesday to Saturday, during regular store opening hours.
Note: some shops may close as early as 4:00 PM.
The walk can be booked for a maximum of 8 people at a time.
What Will You Experience?
An interactive walk through the historic center of Harderwijk, with the theme ‘The Secret of Harderwijk’. Discover the unique history surrounding the (now vanished) churches and monasteries of the town. The struggle between the Diocese of Utrecht and the Counts of Gelre had a significant influence on how the city was built. What role did the Johanniter Order play in this previously untold part of history?
With a fact-based mystery, you will uncover the secrets of Harderwijk. On a walk of about 4 kilometers (approximately 2.5 hours), you’ll pass many beautiful buildings. In the app, you can read, hear, and discover the history and mystery of Harderwijk.
Along the way, you’ll visit up to five specialty food shops.
Note: subject to occasional shop closures.
Show your app and personal code (reminder: one code per person) at each shop to taste a delicious local specialty.
So: an interactive walk and up to five tasty treats – for just €9.95 per person.
